Driftwood cover????

I swore I heard a cover version of Driftwood sung by a girl while I was in a
coffee shop in Toronto Canada recently. Anyone know who covers the tune?

I think there is a really dodgy version out there by some bird call Aselin
Debison.i heard it and its a bit poop.she sounds a bit smurflike...no
passion or owt in her voice!!
